The Ore-Ida Council Welcomes Lynn Gunter as our new Scout Exectutive

Please welcome Lynn Gunter as Scout executive of the Ore-Ida Council, Boise, Idaho, effective March 15, 2019.

Lynn began his Scouting career as District Executive at the Grand Teton Council in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He moved on to become the Endowment Director with the same council. He was promoted to Director of Finance of the Grand Canyon Council, Phoenix, Arizona and on to Associate Region Director of the Western Region, Tempe, Arizona. He moved on to become a Fundraising Specialist with the National Service Center, Irving, Texas. He was later promoted to Director of Field Service of the Trapper Trails Council.

Lynn enjoys fishing, hiking, shooting, and knife making.

Lynn and his wife, Keri, have four children and one grandchild.

Please join me in congratulating Lynn as he joins in partnership with the volunteers and staff of the Ore-Ida Council to deliver quality Scouting experiences to the young people of the communities we serve.
