Community Service Award

THE COMMUNITY SERVICE AWARD

Available from the Council Service Center and awarded to registered youth/adults in the ORE-IDA Council, Boy Scouts of America for recognition of service hours (other than hours credited towards rank advancement), for service hours to their church, school, community and scouting.

 

The award is three inch red embroidered patch with three different border colors:

 

Red Border:   designates a minimum of 2 hours of service

Gold Border:  designates a minimum of 10 hours of service

Silver Mylar Boarder:  designates a minimum of 25 hours of service

 

The patches are available to be awarded to all levels of Scouting, i.e. Tiger Cubs through Ventures and Adult Leaders.  They may be purchased for $3.00 each and purchase must be accompanied with this form properly filled out and authenticated by the appropriate adult unit leader.   Individuals desiring the patch for display only my purchase them for $4.00 each.  Currently the patch awards are available for purchase at the Ore-Ida council Service Center.
