Then bring your car on down to the Oregon Trail District Pinewood Derby!
That’s right! It’s one more chance to send your car down the track…one more chance to join your fellow Cub Scouts and race to victory!
The Oregon Train District Pinewood Derby will be held on April 21st at 10 AM and will go until noon. It will be held in the LDS church at 1925 Broadway Avenue in Boise.
WHEN: April 21st, 2018
Check-in at 10:00 AM. Race should run until around Noon.
WHERE: LDS Church – 1925 Broadway Avenue (Across from Garfield Elementary)
COST: Free. Pre-registration at the Council Office is strongly encouraged.
WHO: Every Oregon Trail Cub Scout who has made a car this year.
RULES: We’re all Scouts, and a Scout is Trustworthy, Courteous, and Friendly.
Compete in the group you raced in your pack, even if you crossed over.
Max 5 oz., 7 1/2” length, 2 3/4” width, 3/8” clearance under the car.
Dry lubricant only (graphite powder recommended)
No moving or liquid weights, springs, or washers.
Race results will be decided by an average of best times across 4 races.
